History

An C18 or early C19 ffald, of a type familiar in Carmarthenshire churchyards, shown on the 1839 Tithe map. During World War II it was adapted as an air raid shelter by covering it with a concrete roof and a banking of earth against the outside of the wall and over the roof.

Exterior

A circular pound partly attached to the churchyard wall, of rubble stone with larger copings, and up to 1.9m high on the S side where the ground level is lower. It has a single opening on the S side.
