History

Earlier C19.

Exterior

Terraced house in painted roughcast and stucco with slate roof, bracketed eaves and stone left end stack. Two-storey three-window range of late C19 or early C20 plate glass sashes with painted slate sills, centre half-glazed door with overlight in large late C19 or early C20 timber corniced and glazed porch. Stucco quoins and window surrounds as on No 6. Porch has elaborate frosted and etched glass panel to half-glazed door, side-lights and top-lights.

Reasons for Listing

Listed as one of the first seven houses built in 'Marinors Street', marked on 1847 Tithe Map as owned by David Evans, Neuadd; this one occupied by Captain Evan Evans.
