History

Late C18/early C19.

Exterior

Georgian pair of 3-storey and basement, 3-window frontages, broader and stuccoed to Manse, cement render to Pelican; the latter was from 1948 the home of Dylan Thomas'' parents. Slate roof, brick chimney stacks, eaves band. Recessed small-pane sash windows, offset to right, with central Palladian semi-circular headed sashes with keystones. Bracketed hoods to entrances; 6-panel door to Manse, 9-panel door to Pelican with fanlights. Plaque to 2nd floor of Pelican reads "The two .... pine ends of this building belong to W and M Davies. Built by him in 1866.
