History

Terraced house, continuous with No 1 Queen Street. Probably early to mid C19. Site marked as built up on both 1786 and 1834 maps.

Exterior

End-terrace house in painted roughcast with raised plinth, slate close-eaved roof and red brick end stacks, small right end stack. Two-storey, double-fronted with 2 12-pane sash windows each floor and door slightly offset to right of centre. C20 6-panel door with overlight. Painted stone sills. Plain eaves board and cast iron rainwater goods.

Reasons for Listing

Included as a terraced house in late Georgian style, a pair with No 1 Queen Street on prominent corner.
