Earlier C19 dwarf wall and wrought iron railings, probably contemorary with No 2 which may date from c1820-30.
Low wall in coursed squared rubble with slate coping. Wrought iron eroded low railings with 3 horizontal bars, dog-bars to lower section, and arrowhead finials, alternating between top and middle bar. All bars are square section. Stanchions with urn finials, also flanking gate to left. Single gate of matching design with dog-bars and spearheads. Top bar is gently down-curved to centre.
Included as a good early example of locally-produced iron products, and for group value with No 2 Spilman Street.
