History

Possibly by Sir G G Scott at the time of the church rebuilding (1868).

Exterior

Secular Gothic style. 2 storeys, coursed rubble facings, freestone dressings, slate roofs. Paired steep gables forward to left, one storey plus attic set back to right. Ornamental bargeboards with punched trefoils, tiled ridge cresting, tall masonry stacks of tapering profile, dormer head with pitched roof to left, half-hipped treatment to right gable end.
Chamfered 1-, 2- and 3-light windows under pointed relieving arches, sashes with wide pane glazing, steeply pitched roof to porch in return angle. One storey plus attic elevation to road with steeply pitched dormer heads and ground floor splayed bay.
