Dating from the original period of canal building 1794-7.
Cemented red brick with chamfered archring on towpath side. Single elliptical arch carrying humped brick roadway. Ramped and outward curving abutments ending in brick piers, chamfered stone cappings. Putlog holes to far soffit of arch.
