C17 Timber-framed pair with C19 alterations. (House on left formerly White Lion Inn).
Two and a half storey, 2 window houses. Box framed, brick nogged square panels on rubble and brick plinth. Raised boarded eaves giving gently pitched slate roof. Plain bargeboards. Central brick stack.
Gabled dormers to C19 top storey. Slate roofs, ornamental bargeboards, finials. Sills below eaves. Small paned cross windows to right, similar modern to left. House on left has 2 canted oriels to 1st floor. Slate roofed; sympathetic modern windows. Modern windows to ground floor. Canted Victorian oriel flanked by sash window to house on right. Narrow sash and shallow 6 pane sash to ground floor.
Doorways offset to right. Bracketed gabled hoods to doorcases. C19 door to right.
Stop chamfered axial beams. Square panel, timber framed partition walls.
