Churchyard wall, medieval, much rebuilt, retaining the raised churchyard. Rubble stonework, approximately 1.5m high, with double iron gates on the S, and in the NW corner, and a single iron gate at the SW corner. The gates are C19, with trefoil headed panelled stanchions and offsetting caps. Double bottom and middle bars with roses, and an arched top flat restraining the 4-way spear headed rails, and dog rails.
Within the churchyard are a number of slate headstones of interest for the quality of their lettering, especially the Teece headstone of 1839, against the S churchyard wall, Jones/Richards headstone against the SW gate, 1832/41, and the Humphries headstone 1863, against the SW corner of the graveyard.
Included as an historically important feature to the setting of the Grade I listed church, and of group value within the conservation area of Guilsfield.
