Exterior

Circa 1850 terraced house in painted, lined stucco with imitation slate roof and stone N end stack. Two-storey two-window range of 16-pane sashes with painted slate sills. Door to right in fine Ionic pilaster doorcase with moulded arched head. Four-panel door, arched head and fanlight with marginal glazing and Y-tracery. Two concrete steps.

Reasons for Listing

Included as a pair with No 44 which has retained the original character in a heavily altered row.

Group value with No 43 opposite.
