History

C19 house in row with Nos 2 and 3 but slightly taller. Much renovated in late C20. The centre window was probably the original door.

Exterior

Terraced house, painted roughcast with slate close-eaved roof and red brick end stacks. Two-storey, 3 bay facade with hornless 12-pane sashes, taller horned sash to ground floor centre (presumably replacing a door), and half-glazed C20 door with overlight to right.

Reasons for Listing

Included as C19 terraced house in late Georgian style, of group value, with adjacent listed buildings.
