History

Datable to c1826 when present section of road was built to connect old Penmachno road with Telford's Holyhead Road.

Exterior

Road bridge in flat rubble masonry. Single semi-circular arch with voussoirs set back. Levelling course continues round tall tapering buttresses with flat capstones. Carriageway c5m wide and parapet c1m high with flat coping stones.
