I stayed in this house whilst working for Babcock and Wilcox on the nuclear power station construction at Wylfa. It was a pig farm at the time. A gravestone attached the back of the house cites Thomas Mayrick is buried here. In fact a large slate coffin was under the back room in a low basement with a 4 inch thick slate top. I have a picture of the gravestone but unable to upload it. Underneath lieth the body of Thomas Mayrick of Cevn Coch in this Parish who departed this life Sept 23 yr 1763 in the 44th year of his age, followed by a quotation.
