Description

Early 19th century. Three-storey and attic, three-bay tenement with modern shopfronts at ground floor. Coursed squared sandstone; ashlar dressings. First floor cill course; modillioned cornice; blocking course. Margins to upper floor windows.

West (entrance) elevation: central square-headed entrance to close (leading to Number 108); entrance to left to shop to left, glazed timber door with letterbox fanlight, shop window to right; central entrance to shop to right, two-leaf modern glazed door, flanking shop windows. Regular fenestration to upper floors. Two piended dormers at attic.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; stone skews; brick stacks; circular cans.

INTERIORS: not seen 1998.

Statement of Interest

To outer left above blocking course is the higher level but identical cornice and blocking course to the earlier Number 104 (now demolished).
