Mid 19th century. 2-storey, 5-bay classical corner block with Jacobean motifs. Polished ashlar, coursed stugged rubble to S elevation. Dentilled cornice to shopfronts; 1st floor cill course; triglyph Doric frieze; mutuled cornice; pierced parapet with high panelled and corniced dies. Architraved windows at 1st floor.
W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central entrances to 2 modern shopfronts at ground floor; 2-leaf glazed modern doors, flanking shop windows, to both. Regular fenestration at 1st floor.
S (KIRK PORT) ELEVATION: 5-bay. Bay to outer left forms curved angle of W elevation return; shop window at ground; single window at 1st floor. Remaining 4 bays lower height; single windows at ground and 1st floor with exception of steps to corniced and pilastered doorpiece at ground to outer right.
4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof.
INTERIORS: not seen 1998.
