Dated 1884. Polished pink granite bench sited behind Baile-na-Coille, with carved brackets at base and outer arm rests; stepped back with carved wreath and crown at centre, flanked by gilded inscription.
Sited near to statue of John Brown and also of group value. The inscription reads: 'Who'e'er is distant, He is always near, Never so near, as now he's gone'.
