This is how the cottage looked circa 1950s. My Uncle Alec Drummond was the gamekeeper who lived in the cottage on Sir James Wilson's estate & my sister & I spent happy holidays in the cottage & loved exploring the beautiful countryside, The Falls of Leny, Loch Venacher & climing to Samson's Putting Stone.
