1820. Small, crowstepped pumping house. Ashlar granite lined with red brick on large granite blocks. Timber door to N. Grey slated roof with ball finial to W gable.
In the family papers is a receipted account dated 13th December, 1820 from Francis Durward, mason "for building a pump well at offices of Kemnay £1.14.0".
