Description

Dated 1632; re-located circa 1860. Rectangular-plan, granite ashlar and sandstone bellcote on modern base. Roll moulded openings and shafted angles give way to semicircular pediment at each face with baluster finials at angles, thistle finials at apices of pediments and ball-finialled centre.

Statement of Interest

A measured drawing of the bellcote by J Scott Lawson notes that it was "removed from the Old Kirk, Kemnay and reerected in the garden of Kemnay House about 1860".
