Earlier-mid 19th century; appears to have been raised a storey in mid 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay double-fronted end of terrace cottage with single storey and attic/single storey rear wing. Coursed dressed whinstone with droved painted ashlar dressings to principle (W) elevation; whinstone rubble elsewhere. Quoins; coped skew putts; architraved openings/projecting cills to principal (W) elevation.
W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central entrance; plain timber door with rectangular fanlight; flanking windows to each floor and window above.
W ELEVATION: window to left of ground floor; small window above. Lower-height wing projects to right; single storey and attic section adjoins main body of cottage; entrance with boarded timber door and 3-light rectangular fanlight to left of left return; window to right; piended dormer above. Single storey section projects from gable end.
S ELEVATION: blank gable end.
N ELEVATION: adjoins No 21 West High Street.
PVCu windows to principal (W) elevation; timber sash and case windows elsewhere (12-pane to rear wing). Grey slate roofs except to single storey section with corrugated asbestos roof. Flanking coursed stone and rubble ridge stacks with band courses to main body of cottage; round cans; coped gablehead stack to single and attic storey section of rear wing.
