Earlier 19th century with later addition. 2-storey and attic; single-fronted end of terrace cottage. Harled with droved painted stone dressings. Base course. Architraved openings to principal (SW) elevation.
SW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: entrance to left; panelled timber door with rectangular fanlight. Single window to right to each floor and one above. Vertical margin to right arris.
NE ELEVATION: late 20th century single storey concrete block wing (possible rebuilding of earlier structure) projects to left. Pair of piended dormers visible to attic.
SE ELEVATION: single ground floor window to right of gable end. Late 20th century single storey concrete block wing adjoins to right.
NW ELEVATION: adjoins No 49 West High Street.
12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof. Gablehead stack to SE rebuilt in brick late 20th century; shares harled coped stack with No 49; round cans.
INTERIOR: not inspected (1998)
Has an intact earlier 19th century street frontage and groups well with the adjacent (slightly earlier) No 49 West High Street (see separate list description).
