Charles Edward and Thomas Saunders Robertson, later 19th century. 2-storey and attic, irregular-plan hospital building. Snecked sandstone rubble, ashlar dressings, slate roof. Single windows with chamfered jambs. Single and bipartite flat-roofed dormers, originally 4-pane timber sash and case windows replaced in p.v.c.u.; moulded eaves course; crowstepped gables; corniced stacks.
S (FRONT) ELEVATION: 3 bays advanced to left with single storey canted window to centre with crenellated parapet, altered entrance door to right, window to left, 3 windows to 1st floor, dormer to centre, window to flanking gables, window to ground and 1st floor right return; 5 windows arranged 2-1-2 to ground and 1st floor of recessed bays to right, bipartite to gable at right, 2 dormers to left.
W ELEVATION: door and various windows.
E ELEVATION: fire escape to 1st floor / attic.
N ELEVATION: 3-storey tower.
INTERIOR: not seen (1998).
