Description

Circa 1830. Single storey, 2-bay, gabled lodge house on ground falling to S. Rock-faced rubble with contrasting ashlar dressings. Deep base course. Round-headed door.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: gabled elevation with boarded timber door and 2-part semicircular fanlight in bay to right under sloping roof, narrow light to left and window with relieving arch beyond to left.

S ELEVATION: advanced gable with window to centre, small window on return to left and tiny window to recessed face in bay to left, blank bay below sloping roof to right.

E ELEVATION: window in gabled bay to right, and further window in low projecting bay to left.

2- and 4-pane glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Coped ashlar stack. Plain bargeboarding.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low coped rubble boundary walls.
