Description

Circa 1867. 4-storey, 6-bay terraced plain classical tenement with shops at ground. Sandstone ashlar with margins. Base course, fascia band, cill band at 1st and 3rd floors, projecting and bracketed cills at 2nd floor, corniced eaves.

N (EAST LONDON STREET) ELEVATION: 10 bays at ground, common stair entrance with fanlight to centre, paired shop entrances in penultimate bays from left with flanking 19th century plate glass shop windows; recessed entrances in 7th bays and penultimate bay form right with flanking shop windows; regular fenestration above.

Timber sash and case windows with 4-pane and plate glass glazing, ridge stacks with terracotta cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
