Probably late 18th century. Small, oval-plan walled garden of approximately 300 square metres (running N-S) to E of Dunnikier House Hotel. Part-coped rubble boundary walls to with 3 step-coped ashlar gatepiers to SW and pierced ornamental frieze at wallhead to right. Further coped walls to walled walk (running E-W) also to E.
Immediately beyond an area of formal garden to the E of Dunnikier House (listed separately), lay this small walled garden and walk. Dunnikier House was built by James Townsend Oswald in 1791, the Parks Department took it over in 1968, selling off the house for conversion to a hotel in 1971.
