Earlier to mid 19th century, with later alterations. 2-storey and attic, 4-bay rectangular-plan near-symmetrical house (divided internally) with 3-bay (W) gable to street, adjoining 2-4 Dundas Street to rear (S). Pointed random rubble; painted cement-rendered and lined at ground to W with cement margins to openings. Band course between ground and 1st floor; eaves course. Cement-rendered and lined pitched modern garage with sliding boarded door and corrugated-iron roof projecting from E gable.
N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: modern, part-glazed timber panelled door at ground in bay to left of centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in bay to outer left. Window at ground in bay to right. Window at 1st floor in bay to outer right.
W (GRAHAM PLACE) ELEVATION: deep-set part-glazed modern timber door with fanlight at ground in bay to centre; large window in each bay flanking. Window at 1st floor in bay to right; attic window above; gablehead stack.
Modern timber-framed windows with top-hung upper lights; former shop windows at ground to W elevation. Old Orkney grey slate roof; stone ridge; rooflights to N pitch; corniced rubble gablehead stacks; thackstanes; uPVC rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.
BOUNDARY WALL: cement-rendered wall flanking Caithness slabbed alley along N elevation with concrete coped rubble terminal pier to W; square-headed store below.
