Circa 1795. Rectangular plan walled garden. Snecked sandstone rubble with flat coping; coursed rubble inner lining; long and short droved quoins stop chamfered to NE and NW. Walls swept down to S, with curved corners to SE and SW; chamfered doorways with relieving arches to W and E; replacement boarded timber doors. Single storey potting shed to W (outside) with arched doorway off centre to left and window with relieving arch to outer left; bays to right collapsed, replaced by corrugated iron roofed shelter. Evidence of greenhouses to inside of N wall; small greenhouse to centre of W wall and corrugated iron shelter to left.
According to the present owner the house was at one time self sufficient, and all that was required was produced in the walled garden and surrounding estate.
