Description

Circa 1900. 2-storey, 2-bay Edwardian Baroque offices. Red sandstone ashlar, cornice and parapet. Ground floor office window altered with broad door to right; bracketed cornice above. Lugged, architraved bipartite window to left at 1st floor and shallowly canted oriel to right with panelled apron, under pediment breaking into parapet, stepped behind. Shield in tympanum and billeted panels flanking.

Timber sash and case windows with small-pane upper sashes and plate glass sashes.

Statement of Interest

Listed for its contribution to the High Street context and well- designed 1st floor, despite uninspiring ground floor.
