Early 19th century. Ashlar. Octagonal gatepiers, slender moulded panels with cusped gabletted heads, moulded depressed pyramidal caps; main gatepiers with flanking pedestrian gates; plain terminal octagonal ashlar piers; low plinth wall. Original decorative wrought-iron railings and gates.
The lodge was removed following road widening. It is currently being rebuilt in the grounds of Arden House (1995). This was the main entrance to the earlier Arden House. Arden House is listed separately.
