Description

Early 19th century with later additions and alterations. 2-storey 3-bay terraced house. Painted render.

NW (WEST PORT) ELEVATION: irregularly disposed bays. Modern partly glazed door at ground to centre with window at 1st floor above; window to left at ground. Window to each floor of flanking bays.

SE ELEVATION: not seen, 1996.

4-pane timber sash and case windows at ground with plate glass timber sash and case windows at 1st floor. Slate roof. Brick mutual stack to SW.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1996.

Statement of Interest

The building has a continuous roof with No 39 West Port (see separate listing), to SW. Buildings were seen on this site from 1823 and are grouped and planned in such a way to suggest that these are the same buildings.
