Circa 1820. Pair of 2-storey with attic, 2-bay, rectangular-plan, gabled houses. Coursed Caithness stone slabs, regular fenestration, irregular to rear. Canted dormers.
NO 28: N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: panelled door to right.
NO 29: N ( PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 2-leaf panelled door to left. W (LOWER DUNBAR STREET) ELEVATION: 3-storey, 2-bay regular fenestration, blocked windows to ground. S (REAR) ELEVATION: advanced 3-storey, gabled bay, coped stack.
INTERIORS: not seen 2001.
Plate glass sash and case windows except large plate glass window to ground floor right. Grey slates. Coped skews, gable stacks. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
