Statement of Interest

At one time the Troon headquarters of the Union Bank of Scotland, Bank House is now used in part as a nursery. Despite the loss of the ground floor tripartite windows which originally filled the segmental-arched recesses (see photograph, McEwan) the house retains some good details. Of particular note are the pilastered bays, corniced eaves, arched recesses and columnar portico.
