Early 19th century. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay terraced tenement with 2 shops at ground and pend. Polished ashlar with painted render at ground, rubble at rear. Projecting cills, continuous fascia.
S (BAKER STREET) ELEVATION: 5 bays at ground. Pend at centre flanked by 2 shops. Shop at left recessed entrance adjoining pend flanked by 19th century shop windows. Shop at right modern shop window adjoining pend with recessed entrance. Regular fenestration above with 2 canted, slate hung dormers with bowed roofs.
N ELEVATION: centre bay breaking eaves in later dormerhead, stair windows to each floor; flanking bays with windows at 1st and 2nd floors.
Timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing, plate glass glazing to rear to centre and 1st floor to left and right. Grey slates. Gablehead stacks.
B Group with Nos 4 and 6, 8, 10 and 12, 14, 18, 28 and 30, 9 and 11, 13 and 15, 27 and 29, 31,33 and 35, 37 and 39, 49 and 51 Baker Street. Good traditional form above ground, part of wider continuous streetscape.
