Late 19th century; short rubble wall with rough coping at west end; 2 m high wall of hammer dressed blocks in snecked pattern on the east.
This wall marks the position of the original railway line that ran to Port Edgar. The line was closed to passenger service in 1929 but continued to serve the whisky blending and bottling plant until 1966.
