Probably mainly late 18th century, with later alterations. 2-storey,
3-bay house with Gibbsian (later) doorpiece and large extension to rear. Cement render to front, peebledash to rear and sides. Render at ground floor lined to simulate ashlar.
E (FRONT) ELEVATION: round-arched doorway to centre with Gibbsian jambs and date 1716 to keystone (recut), open pediment on scrolled brackets with armorial shield to tympanum. Single windows to outer bays at ground and 1st floor.
W (REAR) ELEVATION: large rectangular-plan 2-storey extension with bipartite windows and piend roof.
Timber sash and case windows with small leaded panes to front, 12-pane glazing to rear. Purple slate. Distinctive scrolled skewputts with rope motif.
INTERIOR: not seen 1994.
The doorway seems to have been added probably in the second half of the 19th century, the 1st floor has been raised and the 1st floor windows have windows have been altered, probably in the late 19th century.
