Dated 1880, 4 4-storey 5-bay tenements on curving site flanking the approach to Anchor Mills. Ashlar front, brick-built sides and rear.
Each tenement windows arranged 2-1-1-2, centre bay blind except at ground. Rope-moulded roundels over inscribed "Anchor Buildings 1880".
Rear whitewashed brick, single-lights except bipartite stair lights. Sides harled. Single-storey outshot at left. Slate roofs. Ashlar ridge stacks, sash and case windows. 4-pane glazing pattern. Wrought-iron gates and railings on low brick walls.
Housed key employees of J & J Clark, such as those in the fire brigade.
