Description

William Smith dated 1877, incorporating fine WU MDCCXLI coat
of arms from former Town House at this site. Tall 2-storey
granite rough ashlar facade centre slightly projeted with
arched doorpiece approximately reproducing that of the
previous building, coat of arms and consoled clock stage and
ogee-capped timber and lead bell turret above; 2-window
either side, arched ground floor, curved angles corbelled to
square above. Simple interior, large room at 1st floor.
