Description

James Henderson 1843 as Free Church Manse. 2-storey and
basement 3-window harled with granite margins and dressings,
consoled and blocked pedimented doorpiece, steps to door and
railed front area, plain belt courses ground floor level and
top, blocking course above. Original woodwork.

Statement of Interest

The former Free Church is also by Henderson, large simple

classic rectangle closed in 1954: now in poor condition and

used as a chicken hatchery.
