Mid to later 19th century. 2-storey, 5-bay, end of terrace hotel (originally 2 properties, grouped 2-3) with projection linked to coach and stable provision at right angles to rear. Rendered with contrasting painted dressings and base course.
QUEEN STREET ELEVATION: 2 bays to left comprised of door to right flanked by blocked door with window to left; 3 bays to right with door at centre flanked by windows. Regularly spaced windows at 1st floor. 3 canted, piend-roofed late 19th century dormers.
REAR ELEVATION: lean-to single storey rubble projection at ground to centre and right; gabled 2-storey projection to left; enlarged windows. Gabled coach and stable block, painted rubble, with segmental carriage arch to left, hayloft openings above; pedestrian door at centre and square-headed cart-opening to right; 2 gabled dormerheaded windows above. Plate glass glazing in sash and case windows, 4-pane and modern glazing to enlarged windows to rear. Grey slates; graded to rear. Gablehead stacks. Decorative cast-iron gutter brackets to front.
