Description

Circa 1830. 2-storey, attic and basement house with symmetrical 3-bay classical front. Rubble walling with polished grey granite margins and rusticated quoins.

S elevation: steps with simple iron balustrade to Roman Doric pedimented doorpiece, double-leaf panelled doors, fanlight. All windows sash and case with 12-pane glazing pattern.

To E flant 1945 addition of single storey flat-roofed harled wing.

Rear with paired flights of steps to basement door; box dormer. Regularly spaced windows, all 12-pane sashes.

Polished granite band courses over basement and at eaves, cornice, blocking course piend and platform roof of good graded slates. Rusticated coped wallhead stacks.

Large walled garden to N rubble wall with sandstone coping. Coped

rubble boundary and quadrant walls to road. Pair of sturdy rusticated granite gatepiers with simple iron gates.
