Original building 1864. Extension, John Robertson, 1901. Small
and simple rectangular plan with apse and porch to south-west;
2 storey 2 bay manse adjoining at north-west. Coursed rubble with stugged ashlar dressings.
Church: triple lancet window to Academy Street gable; crowstepped
porch at south-west; crowstepped gables to church with apex cross;
slate roof.
Simple interior: braced rafters to apse supporting timber ceiling
all painted. Painted snecked rubble walls. Pale marble steps to
apse with green marble risers; green and cream marble altar.
Reginald Fairlie, 1952, designed oak reredos and altar canopy;
Gothic detailing gilded. Manse; simply detailed with door and
window in ground floor, 2 windows in 1st floor with wall-head crowstepped gables; slate roof.
Ecclesiastical building in use as such. Church orientated
north/south. Altar north end (liturgical east).
