Designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, 1935. Standard K6 telephone kiosk.
These kiosks are prominently sited by the arcaded north side of the Town House. The K6 is a modified version of the K2 (also designed by Gilbert Scott), the most notable alteration being to the glazing. Instead of regular-sized panes of glass of Georgian proportions, the vertical glazing bars were moved sideways, to create a broad central light with narrow margin lights.
