Mid 19th century. 3-storey, 4-bay, asymmetrical plan classical building, squared and snecked sandstone, 1st floor cill cornice, 2nd floor cill band course, balustrade.
W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: modern shopfronts to left and right at ground floor, pend between, windows at 1st floor with consoled cornices, shallow pediments to outer bays, windows at 2nd floor with plain margins, balustrade above with pierced disc fretting with angled crosses, central section as ashlar parapet with 2 urns, corbelled and panelled end dies with urns.
E ELEVATION: main block set back, 2 canted dormers, advanced section above pend, boarded window at 1st floor, window at 2nd floor with stained glass, altered 3rd part harled, piended roof.
N ELEVATION: adjoining 109 High Street.
S ELEVATION: adjoining 119 High Street.
4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; stone skew to S; broad brick gablehead stacks.
INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
Part of the 113, 115 and 117 High Street B Group. Interconnected with 117 High Street across pend and via wings extending E. Pend known as Queen's Close.
