Earlier 19th century. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay classical tenement in irregular terrace with shop at ground. Lined render to front, rubble stone to rear, 2nd floor cill band course, eaves cornice and blocking course with tablet, raised margins.
E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: modern shopfront to right at ground, pend to left, symmetrical 1st and 2nd floors, 2 canted dormers above.
S ELEVATION: adjoining 58 High Street.
N ELEVATION: adjoining 52 High Street.
W ELEVATION: adjoining 56 High Street to left, single bay above pend to right, window at 1st and 2nd, canted dormer above.
12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; ashlar gablehead stack to N, brick stack to S at rear.
INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
