Description

18th century or earlier. Large granite boulder situated on green at centre of burgh of barony showing wear caused by rope or chain attached to bull for bull-baiting.

Statement of Interest

For historic interest. Outlawed by Act of Parliament in 1835, bull-baiting was popular from the 12th century.
