Description

Mid 19th century. Symmetrically planned 2-storey house
linked to later single storey hall to east. Harled with
ashlar dressings. Original house: altered door with
splayed reveals and segmental-headed double fanlight in
right bay of house; 2 mullioned and transomed windows to
ground floor, window in slightly advanced central gabled
bay is hood-moulded. String course over ground floor.
1st floor: central hood-moulded recessed blank panel
between 2 narrow lights with stepped linking cill band;
round-headed opening in gable. Single windows in outer
bays with gabled dormer-heads. Moulded skews with flat
skewputts. Hall to east has tall, central panel inscribed
"Dunn Memorial Hall", with oculus and stepped gable.
Flanked by hoodmoulded, segmental-headed tripartites
with small square blank plaques above; bracketed cornice;
rone pipes and guttering decorated with simple floral
design. Slate roof. Gabled hall to rear.
