Description

Late 19th century Lodge, with Scots Baronial detailing. 2
storeys, bull-faced ashlar with crow-stepped gables, 2 bays
to High Street (the right gabled), door in crenellated tall
circular turret deeply-recessed on S flank; curved SW corner
corbelled to square below eaves. Sash windows with 4-pane
glazing pattern. Corniced axial stack; slate roof.
Bull-faced walling extends N along roadside as retaining wall
and curved to SE along driveway, with decorated cast-iron
railings over.
