Engine House No. 3 Mill, New Lanark

Uploader's Comments

The engine house is the building closest to the camera with two tall arch-headed windows flanking a door. This drove No. 3 Mill by ropes crossing the leat supplying water to other mills in the complex. It contains a relocated steam engine from a site in Selkirk.
