Tooled rubble arch ring and low parapet; widely splayed S

Oldest dated extant bridge in Moray. Arms of Thomas Moray and
Janet Lindsay who built bridge; their connection with Keith
is not known though Groome recounts that they 'were a worthy

.... who were so distressed by the cries of persons in danger
that they devoted their savings to the erection of a stone
bridge'. Repaired 1724 and 1822.
