Description

William Lawrie (of office of James Matthews), 1859-60, harled, 2
storeys and attic, 12 bays with bays next to ends advanced
and gabled. Centre 3 bays higher and advanced to form
3-storey 3-bay block with slightly recessed centre flanked
by gabled outer bays; at centre 3 bays, tripartite windows
at ground and 1st floors; at centre bay, 2nd floor window
has gabletted dormerheads. Modern dormers at wings. Slated
roof. Modern entrance at centre. Archway at entrance dated
1860, harled with ashlar dressings, small, gabled block with
strongly battered buttresses and round-arched and key
blocked pend.
